I noticed that my posts are less personal, more fluff. I initially wanted this blog to be a memory keeper, a reminder of the past for when in the future. But with the online world being so crazy scary… it’s just not practical to jot down every single thing in this site anymore.

Sha asked me amid conversation, what did Tat and I do for our first year anniversary? Me being me and not unfamiliar with mental blocks, told her I would have to check my blog then get back to her.
I’ve come to see jmeei.net not as a mere blog, but a memory keeper.
This morning, while armed with a nice glass of iced OJ (ugh the weather), I sat down and clicked on the forgotten months.
It’s so scary how fast time has passed. I’ve came a long way, but I’m thankful to be where I am right now :)
Guilt in the form of a year’s wasted domain space has caught up with me. After much ping-ponging around the world wide web, I have wearily decided to just stay put here.
I promise, this will be the last address shift.

Anyone who knows me should know that I have two left feet… so it came as no surprise that I had my first clumsy spill in Melbourne today.
I knew the floor was freshly mopped, I knew I was wearing socks, I knew I was walking at a faster than average speed… I knew I was going to meet face to floor.
Usually I’m able to bounce back up without so much of a scratch… but this time I found myself scrambling at the kitchen counter for support instead. Now while I walk (or rather, hobble), there’s this sharp niggling pain at my left thigh… not to mention my achy breaky bum oww.
I feel so… old.
P.s. I updated the site to Melbourne time! Don’t know why I didn’t do that earlier.

P.s. Because I’m resigned to the fact that I’m a geek, I added two new widgets to the site- I am now able to post icons and moods, just like the good ol’ days at LJ. I love Wordpress Widgets!

Sorry for the downtime… bought myself some new domain space and had to transfer all the old junk over! This is me explaining the whole domain concept to Tat:

Managed to nick in a quick meet up with Ally before she flew back to Melbourne.
Me likey Ally’s blue jumper dress!
Our ‘quick meet up’ consisted of a three hour gab sesh excluding the first fifteen minutes of meet and greet convo. It’s nice to meet new people and it’s nicer when we’re able to click real fast :) And Ally gets hives too! And is also dependent on Zyrtec! Misery loves company hahaha sorry Ally! At least I know I’m not alone… :p

So I redirected my domain to Wordpress instead.
The problem with me is that I’m a sucker for anything new (and pretty). I was mucking around Wordpress and felt that, ‘hey Wordpress is kinda neat!’ The rest is history. I don’t think that attitude’ll go down too well for when I (ever) have kids. Hmmn. My new kid’s prettier than the old one! G’bye oogli… I kid.
Was over at Tat’s after two weeks of absence… was a wee worried that the doggays would’ve forgotten about me :/ Drove into the driveway, and Leo, who has a tendency to HATE strangers (read: bite ‘em and tear ‘em to pieces) was already at the front, swishing his tail and looking wary. Took a step out of the car and- the silly boy stalked over to rub against me awww. Smuffy was all licky, as usual.
