My mum’s not a dog person, she hasn’t touched Max ‘cept for the time she reached down to push him away gingerly when he sniffed at her knee… but I can tell that she’s starting to melt :) She’s been gushing about how ‘cute’ and ‘intelligent’ Max is aww. Give it a week heehee.

mum’s are always like that with pets. my mum apparently hates my cats but if hate then why feed every morning before i wake up, huh? :P

And yes, mothers tend to take a hardliner stance, and then when you DO finally get a pet, they cave. Big-time haha.
Case in point, my mother who was deadset against animals of any kind crossing the threshold of our home (they’re dirty, they shed fur, they try to shag the legs of all visitors blah blah) and now she’s a veritable slave to my dog BB I tell you -_______________-
She even ignores me when I’m on the phone to her if BB is vying for her attention at the same time ok. Long-distance call ok, when every second is billed wtf. Jealous wtf.
So. Give your mom a bit more time, and before you know it she’ll be makinga huge fuss of Max, giving him cuddles and baking him home-made treats hahahaha =D
