Oh… and I almost got busted on the tram for having a concession ticket without a concession card :( Read: All passengers travelling on concession fares, including students, must carry the appropriate transport concession card in order to travel on a concession ticket. In my defense, I only realised that I was 5 cents short of the $10.10 fare when I was already on the tram so I didn’t really have a choice…
Ticket Man: May I see your tickets please
Jm: *hands it over silently*
Ticket Man: Do you have your concession card with you?
Jm: Sorry but I don’t have it with me at the moment.. :(
Ticket Man: How old are you?
Jm: … Fourteen?
Ticket Man: Oh that’s alright then!
… I mean it’s great and all that I managed to get off scot free, but do I really look fourteen :(

Most girls would kill to be mistaken for appearing younger than they are - half-price transport fares from here to eternity (or until we look too haggard to carry it off wtf) here we come wtf.
And Asians always appear younger to Aussies, I don’t know why. I am closer to 30 than 20 and my co-workers just assumed I was 22-23 wtf, because that’s around the age most uni graduates land their first full-time job.
They asked me if I got plastered on my 21st birthday (the answer was no/ never wtf ) and when I replied it was too long ago to remember (drama sikit lah this bit) they went: HOW OLD ARE YOU EXACTLY? And when I told them their faces were like this: 0_____0
