Of wine, books and boredom
I just had dinner and I swear- my mother’s a closet alcoholic. We had ginger wine chicken for two, and she emptied like what, half the bottle of green wine into the pot?!
That being said, ginger wine chicken is the BEST in cold countries. There’s that amazingly warm and fuzzy feeling… burp.
I registered at the Glen Waverly library earlier this afternoon- and I’m allowed to check out THIRTY books per fortnight. I decided against being too greedy and just swiped 5 fictions and a cycling magazine… I think I’m pretty much set for the rest of the week!
I just realised there’s nothing much to do in an Australian suburb :(

there is NOTHING much to do in an australian suburb unless you have the right friends and know the right places. still, there is nothing much to do esp at night (except for watching movies).

Poor Jia Meei - I know that feeling only all too well *hugs*
There certainly isn’t much to do in Australian ‘burbs, especially at night when everything is shut. Which makes it really, really sad, when what you have is a hankering for nasi lemak at 4am =(
But on the bright side, you have your family right? And and and Kayu Nasi Kandar in Box Hill - the fact that I am so excited about this Malaysian offshoot is testament to the fact that I have been deprived of Malaysian food for a very long time wtf.
