hello! I just stumbled upon your blog.
I saw the pictures of Max and he’s just absolutely adorable! :) My aunt has a mini schnauzer too and she used to chew on her toes as well. My suggestion is that you stop him from chewing on his toes coz his fingernails may grow funny afterwards. Here is what you can do - spray those bitter apple water thingy that I’m pretty sure you can buy in a pet shop. or put lemon juice on his paws. :D
oh, another thing. You shouldn’t put the leash on him in the car. especially if you attach the leash to the head seat etc etc. because when you break suddenly, the leash may choke him. Even when using a body harness, the impact may cause sprain on his body. The best way is to train him to sit when the car is moving or one of those doggy seat belts. :)
My Shih Tzu gives me that wet shivering i’m so pityful look when bathing too. hahaha.
Just my little suggestions on protecting your baby. I know how having a first born feels like too. :D and i’m sure you wouldn’t want to hurt him in any way, hor?

Choco: Hellooo, oh he doesn’t chew on his own toes, he chews on MINE haha! Maybe I should rub lemon juice on MY toes… Oh I leash him because he’ll try to climb onto my lap while I’m driving, he just can’t sit still! He’ll even try to jump on the dashboard… He’s still a little too young to be trained, too fidgety :) Maybe I’ll look into doggy seat belts though hmmn. Thanks loads for the tips! :)
