That aside, today was a Productive Work Day! Finally hauled my faddarse up and plowed through a certain dreaded project (we’re sending figures to Japan- guess who has to compile them) which I held off for days cos it seemed really tedious and I wasn’t too sure of how to do it…
But I managed to shove away the mindfuck and I’m now 90% done woots! I think what did the trick was that I rewarded myself along the way- “Ok finish this section here and you can give Tat a text/take a toilet break/reply your IMs/make some coffee”…
Sometimes it’s just the satisfaction of a job well done… :) And other times it’s the money.
Mmmn, money.

this a pretty good reward system.. i used that on myself to pay off my credit card debt when i got my first job right out of college. i raked up alot of debt due to a surgery on the wrist and tuition fees.
i manage to pay off my 9000 debt in 7 months.. and on the 9th month after saving up some cash, i bought myself a nice car stereo system for about 300bucks. it was a nice feeling being debt free.. and have been so ever since…
so keep up with the motivation and reward system, but this time push the limit a little harder.. i am sure the end result will be very satisfying. JAM JIA YOU!!
