The thing about missing
I know it has only been a grand total of a WEEK, but I really miss Tat :( From seeing each other almost every day to going cold turkey for a whole month? Trust me when I say I’m feeling it, yowch.
I do admit that I’m on the better end- I am in a new country with new exciting things to explore which keeps me from being lonely; while Tat’s back there on familiar land with nothing different to distract him from my absence. But I still wake up feeling empty, and go to bed feeling equally as empty. It’s as though I’m missing my right limb :(
The slow days may be the hardest for me, but on busy days I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss Tat at all. I walk down Blackburn and remind myself to show him my Aussie dream home (for when/if we ever move here), I eat at Don Don’s and remind myself to order him a Sashi Don (for he loves salmon), I visit touristy areas and remind myself to lug him there (for the purpose of recreating new memories)… I climb into bed and wish he could be here to cuddle me to sleep (self-explained).
According to his younger sister, Tat’s also been showing withdrawal symptoms, heh. We’re so clingy! And uh, whiny…
People say long distance ‘makes or breaks’ a couple, but I do believe we’ll make it… the only thing that would break will be our longest time spent apart record :p

Blehhh I have exactly one more month and then I’ll be facing LDR for about 5 months before Ah Boy comes back for summer. 5 MONTHS!!! :’((
The longest period that we didn’t see each other was 10 days! Now, I have to face 5-COLD-TURKEY-MONTHS.

I am going to be apart from the boyfriend soon and I don’t know whether I will get to see him, I feel so sad and emo now and I want to cry. :((((

And I totally get what you mean about the ‘cold turkey’ part, it can be a shock to the system, especially since Tat and you and Max make such an adorable family unit =)
ps: Hahahah, Max misses his Mummy, he just doesn’t know how to articulate it - I can just picture him going *woof woof wuuur wooooooorf* right now =D

awwwww i am apart from my boyfriend from Feb till end of the year (nov) every single year since i am here. i get emotional at first, but i kinda get use to it now. boooo…..
i bet Max miss you like crazy!! oh well, a little distance might make your love grows strongerrrr! haha xD

i have till end of the year with drew, then he’ll be going to johor (-_-) for his 3rd year. at that time, i’ll only be seeing him once every three months or more! T__T
totally understand what you mean because even now we’re a really clingy couple too! haih

The last time I saw the guy I’m dating was in March last year, and we have not lived in the same city for 2 years now. I won’t see him until July this year, and God knows when the next time will be after that.
And I think we’re doing alright - as long as the sentiment is there and you maintain the initiative to stay in touch and make things work, you and Tat will be alright too, Jia Meei :)

Heyyyyy! Ahhhh it’s been a long time since i left a comment!! Just got back from Paris and im flying home today! Today! :D
Anyway, LDR for a year made gary and i a MUCHHH stronger couple than before. If you can pull through it, the benefits are like tons. And i know you’ll pull through it, so don’t worry!
