Wrapping up
Right, finally found time to sort out the Melbourne photos + thoughts!
Melbourne ‘08 was exactly how I envisioned it to be- not really a holi-holiday kind of trip but more of… getting used to living there. Before the trip, I was quite apprehensive about the whole migrating issue; and I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to shift over at all :/
But right now, after experiencing the Melbourne life (and winter BRR), I can safely say I’m 100% alright with The Big Move :) I can always decide what to do and where to go after the two years required to secure my PR anyway!
Finally a decision! Took me long enough…

Thank goodness Melbourne was what you expected and more, hon! And it’s awesome that your family is migrating en masse, it can get very very lonely without them =(
Although y’know, my friends who are in Melbourne assure me it’s a mini-KL anyways - they always seem to bump into people they know on the streets, not to mention Melbourne comes complete with its own branch of Kayu Nasi Kandar hahahah!
But yes, the holiday was good hey? Just to see if you can see yourself settling down in Melbourne? But like I said, family and friends make all the difference in the world. God knows when my family will be re-united and all my friends insist on settling all over the place (at last count: Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Germany, UK and Denmark wtf)
